Happy Thanksgiving 2010

Happy Thanksgiving to friends and family, near and far. May this holiday be a reminder to count your blessings, no matter how small they may feel at times, and to know the love of family and friends, the blessing of home and freedom, the comfort of faith, and the joy of life!

Happy 7th Birthday to Max on November 25th

Max (Dave and Angie's youngest boy) turns 7 on Thanksgiving Day (November 25th) this year. Wow...how is that possible? His birthday and his cousin Matt's birthday are 1 day apart on the calendar and 15 years in age. Max, I hope you have an incredible birthday!

Happy 22nd Birthday to Matt on November 24th

Matt's birthday falls on the day before Thanksgiving this year and since I work till 5 PM and the library closes at noon, I wanted to be sure I got his birthday greetings posted. He was born on Thanksgiving. We spent the entire day at the hospital waiting for him to be born! This picture includes his sweetie, Abby. Hope you have an awesome birthday!

Happy Birthday to Brother-in-Law, Jerry, on November 20th

Happy Birthday to Deb's hubby, Jerry. His birthday was November 20th. I could rat him out on his age, but I won't. Hope it was a great day!. Don't have a picture of just Jerry, so this picture of him in the receiving line at Melissa & Eric's wedding this fall is the most recent picture I have of him (and Deb).

Memory of Sam 6-25-2000 to 11-9-2000

Today marks the 10th anniversary since we lost Baby Sam. It's so hard to believe it has been that long ago. We didn't get to keep you with us very long, but the imprint you made on our hearts is indelible.

Happy 78th Birthday to Mom on November 1st

Sorry I didn't get to post this yesterday for Mom. It would have been her 78th birthday yesterday. Her last birthday here on earth, we threw a surprise party for her and all of her siblings and siblings-in-law were there to help her celebrate her 60th birthday. And we pulled it off. I also remember having a car load of helium filled pink balloons and driving from downtown Greensburg to Deb's house for the party. Kept having to bat away balloons so I could see to drive!!! I remember how tickled she was that everyone came for her party.

We lost her just a little over 3 months later in February 1993. Miss you Mom, but had to smile yesterday when I remembered what Dad would always say in response to you remarking that your birthday--All Saints Day-- was a "holy day of obligation", so you weren't suppose to work. "That's only because you were born 3 hours late." Then he'd just grin!

Love and miss you.
