Happy 28th Anniversary to Deb and Jerry on June 26th

Deb and Jerry's 28th wedding anniversary is tomorrow. I didn't get any pictures of their wedding scanned and am still searching for one of just the 2 of them. In the meantime, I hope they have a wonderful day together and that they are blessed with many more happy, healthy years together!

Happy 10th Birthday to Sam!

It's hard to believe that my nephew, Sam, would have turned 10 today. He was born as I was boarding the plane to New Mexico on a trip to the Navajo reservation on a Mission Trip for the Church. I didn't find out he'd arrived until a week later, as the people in New Mexico who were to have told me, didn't. I remember going to St Vincent's and seeing him for the first time. I'd never seen a baby that small before and was rather nervous about touching him; but the NICU nurse encouraged me to do so. I remember running my little finger over his little fist and he latched on. Happy Birthday sweetie...I'm sure your Grandma and Grandpa Schwering and Aunt Brenda are spoiling you. You are and always will be my little angel.

Happy 13th Anniversary to Dave and Angie on the 21st

13 Years ago the 21st, on a day about as warm as it is today (90's), Dave and Angie tied the knot. I don't have my pictures scanned and didn't manage to get a picture of them together, but as soon as I do, I'll get it posted. Hope you had a wonderful Anniversary and that you're blessed with many more happy, healthy years together!

Happy Belated Birthday to Dave

Happy Birthday to brother Dave on June 20th. Sorry this posting is late, but I've not been online since mid-last week. The picture is courtesy of his lovely bride....I think he's blowing bubbles, but not positive! Dave was born on the Millhousen Fireman's Picnic and we had wicked, wicked storms that night. Mom snuck in the Dave Thomas on the birth certificate before Dad could object...he always claimed he didn't want anyone named after him...but glad it worked out that way, since Dave now has a son named Thomas Dave. Happy Belated Birthday!

Happy 11th Birthday to Thomas!!!

Nephew Thomas turns 11 today! How is THAT possible? He's the tall young man in the picture (taken at Christmas time) with the big "6" on his shirt.
